Job summary

About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

As our Lead Test Analyst, you'll play a key role in ensuring ACC delivers high-quality, reliable technology solutions that support better outcomes for New Zealanders. You'll lead testing strategy, planning, execution and reporting across major initiatives, working closely with delivery teams, vendors, business stakeholders and technology specialists. This role offers the opportunity to influence quality engineering practices, mentor and develop others, manage testing risks, and contribute to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

The appointing salary for this role is $101,287 to $131,077 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

About you | Mōu

You will bring:

• A university graduate with an ISTQB Foundation Qualification and a strong grounding in software testing and quality assurance practices.
• Strong experience leading end-to-end testing activities across complex technology delivery environments.
• Expertise in test strategy, test planning, defect management, test execution and quality assurance.
• Demonstrated success leading testing strategy and quality outcomes across complex technology initiatives.
• Experience working across Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• A collaborative leadership style with a passion for coaching, mentoring and supporting others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Experience with Salesforce and/or Guidewire would be an advantage.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
• You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
