Higgins in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver civil and infrastructure road projects across the Bay of Plenty region. You will own projects from planning through handover and lead cross‑functional teams.

You will manage budgets, schedules and contracts, maintain safety and quality, and report transparently to clients and stakeholders. A tertiary qualification in engineering or construction and PM progress are preferred, with proficiency in Procore and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction or related discipline (NZQF Level 7+).
• PM qualification or progress towards one.
• Experience managing medium-risk civil/infrastructure projects end-to-end.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (budgets, forecasts, variations, claims).
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing subcontractor performance.
• Proficient with Procore, MS Project and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Manage projects across the full lifecycle from initiation to close-out.
• Own project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, cost control and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, milestones and recovery plans.
• Manage contracts, variations, claims, extensions of time, risks and opportunities.
• Lead project teams, subcontractors and suppliers with clear direction.
• Provide timely, transparent project reporting and build client relationships.
