Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in North Shore, Auckland, is seeking a Senior Research Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term on-site role. You will lead the research workstream for the Lung Screening Mobile Pilot, coordinating study protocols, ethics approvals, data governance, and governance reporting.

You will work with clinicians, researchers, and implementation teams to deliver evidence that informs equitable lung screening in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Qualifications

• As an experienced project manager you will coordinate health research workstreams and ensure governance.
• Experience in public health research and working with multi-disciplinary teams is preferred.
• Ability to manage study protocols, ethics, locality approvals, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor research activities for the Lung Screening Mobile Pilot.
• Oversee deliverables, manage dependencies across workstreams, and report milestones and risks.
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, governance groups, and implementation teams.
• Prepare governance papers, study protocols, information materials, and privacy documentation.
• Support equitable health outcomes through robust research coordination.
