You will collaborate with clinicians, district leaders, and senior sponsors to ensure on-time, within-scope outcomes, with a focus on equity and high-quality service delivery across communities.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification and/or 5 to 8 years project management experience.
• Experience leading complex projects in health, government, or similarly complex environments.
• Demonstrated experience implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice.
• Proven success delivering project outcomes within agreed timelines, scope, and quality expectations.
• Strong planning, risk management, dependency management, and reporting capability.
• Experience working with and influencing senior leaders, clinicians, and cross-functional teams.
• The ability to lead programmes of work through competing priorities and complex stakeholder environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining project documentation, implementation plans, reporting frameworks, operational guidance, and standard operating procedures.
• Strong financial, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• A sound understanding of the New Zealand health system and the challenges and opportunities associated with health service delivery.
• A collaborative, outcome-focused approach and a commitment to improving equity and health outcomes for Māori, Pacific peoples, and other priority populations.
