Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. seeks Project Engineers / Advanced Project Engineers for Electronic Security, BMS or SCADA & PLC in New Zealand.

Roles span Hamilton, Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, Nelson and New Plymouth, leading or contributing to engineering and commissioning of key projects. Ideal candidates have an engineering degree or trade qualification and experience in electrical/electronic/mechatronics fields, with strong communication and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• An engineering degree or trade qualification in electrical/electronic/mechatronics/ICT.
• Experience with BMS, Electronic Security or PLC/SCADA systems.
• Experience in project engineering in construction is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Project engineering, implementation, integration, commissioning and documentation.
• Coordinate requirements of internal and external stakeholders (Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Remote Engineering, Service, Customers).
• Identify customer needs on site and translate into workable solutions.
• FATs, bench testing and delivering commissioning packages.
• Provide technical direction and support to project members, including planning, scheduling and quality assurance.
• Control and manage work-related risks.
• Assist with sales, including providing project estimates.
