Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. is seeking Project Engineers / Advanced Project Engineers for opportunities in Hamilton, Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, Nelson or New Plymouth.

You will lead or contribute to the engineering and commissioning delivery of key projects in building technologies such as BMS, electronic security or industrial controls. Join a nationwide expansion and collaborate with a multi-skilled automation team.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or trade qualification with considerable experience in electrical/electronic/mechatronics/ICT.
• Experience with building technology solutions like BMS, electronic security, or PLC/SCADA.
• Experience in project engineering in construction facilities.

Responsibilities

• Project engineering, implementation, integration, commissioning, and documentation
• Coordinate requirements of internal and external stakeholders across Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Remote Engineering, Service and Customers
• Identify customer needs on site and translate into workable solutions
• FATs, bench testing and delivering commissioning packages
• Provide technical direction and support to project members, including planning, scheduling, and QA
• Control and manage work-related risks
• Assist with sales, including providing project estimates
