Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. in New Zealand invites expressions of interest for Project Engineers and Advanced Project Engineers specializing in BMS, Electronic Security or SCADA/PLC.

Roles cover Hamilton, Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, Nelson or New Plymouth and involve leading or contributing to engineering and commissioning of key projects. We seek candidates with an engineering degree or trade qualification and demonstrated experience in building technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or trade qualification in electrical, electronic, mechatronics or ICT field.
• Demonstrated experience across building technology solutions such as BMS, Electronic Security or Industrial Controls (PLC/SCADA).
• Experience in project engineering in construction of new and existing facilities is valued.

Responsibilities

• Project engineering, implementation, integration, commissioning and documentation.
• Coordinate stakeholders from Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Remote Engineering, Service and Customers.
• Identify customer needs on site and translate into workable solutions.
• FATs, bench testing and delivering commissioning packages.
• Provide technical direction and support to project members including planning and scheduling.
