Honeywell International Inc. is seeking Project Engineers/Advanced Project Engineers for Electronic Security, BMS, or SCADA & PLC, with opportunities across Hamilton, Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, Nelson and New Plymouth.

You will lead or contribute to engineering and commissioning delivery on key projects within your remit. We welcome engineers who can coordinate with Sales, PM, Engineering, Remote Engineering, Service and customers, and who can translate site needs into practical

Qualifications

An engineering degree or a trade qualification in electrical/electronic/mechatronics or ICT.
Experience with building technology solutions such as BMS, Electronic Security or Industrial Controls (PLC/SCADA).
Project engineering experience in construction of new or existing facilities is highly regarded.
Strong communication skills are essential.
Customer-minded with proven stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Project engineering, implementation, integration, commissioning, and documentation.
Coordinate requirements of internal and external stakeholders including Sales, PM, Engineering, Remote Engineering, Service and Customers.
Identify customer needs on site and translate into workable solutions.
FATs, bench testing and delivering commissioning packages.
Provide technical direction and support to project members including planning, scheduling and quality assurance.
Control and manage work-related risks.
Assist with sales including providing project estimates.
