Job summary

Advanced Personnel Limited is seeking experienced Fabricators/Welders for engineering and manufacturing opportunities across the Waikato, including Hamilton. The role covers fabrication of steel components with MIG, TIG, ARC or FCAW welding, interpretation of drawings, and precision finishing.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years welding experience, a relevant trade qualification, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' fabrication/welding experience.
• Trade qualification relevant to fabrication/welding.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, ARC or FCAW welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with structural steel, heavy fabrication or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate steel components and structures to specifications.
• Perform MIG, TIG, ARC and/or Flux Core welding as required.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings for production.
• Cut, measure, fit and assemble components accurately.
• Grind and finish welded components to required standards.
• Carry out quality checks on finished work.
• Maintain safe working practices on site.
