Job summary

Industrial Site Services Ltd. in the Waikato Region is seeking a full-time Welder/Fabricator based in Hamilton. The role involves welding, fabrication and assembly of equipment, with interpretation of engineering drawings and a strong emphasis on safety.

The ideal candidate will have welding/fabrication qualifications, experience in engineering or construction, site work readiness and the ability to read drawings. NZ driver’s licence is advantageous and a pre-employment drug test may be required.

Qualifications

• Welding/fabrication qualification or trade certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong focus on health and safety practices in workshop and site environments.

Responsibilities

• Fit, assemble and weld metal parts and sub-assemblies to fabricate equipment and components.
• Fabricate, modify and repair structural steel and other metal products and structures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings; measure, cut, drill, grind and prepare materials.
• Perform welding and fabrication work to a high standard with accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment and follow safety requirements.
