Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major data transformation initiative in a complex enterprise environment. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from planning and mobilisation through delivery, testing, implementation and transition, coordinating across Data, Technology and Business teams to keep progress visible.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering data-focused technology projects.
Strong experience with data migration and/or data warehouse projects.
Understanding of data migration activities including mapping, transformation, validation.
Experience coordinating technical data teams and multiple project workstreams.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of data projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets and outcomes.
Manage data warehouse and data migration projects, including planning, dependencies, testing and cutover.
Coordinate Data, Technology and Business workstreams.
Work closely with Data Architects, Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts and testers.
Manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies and change.
Provide clear project reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
Coordinate testing, data validation, defect resolution and implementation activities.
Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality and governance standards.
