Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major data transformation initiative in a complex enterprise environment. • Lead end-to-end delivery of data projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets and outcomes.
• Manage data warehouse and data migration projects, including planning, dependencies, testing and cutover.
• Coordinate Data, Technology and Business workstreams.
• Work closely with Data Architects, Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts and testers.
• Manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies and change.
• Provide clear project reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Coordinate testing, data validation, defect resolution and implementation activities.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality and governance standards.

• Proven experience delivering data-focused technology projects
• Strong experience with data migration and/or data warehouse projects
• Understanding of data migration activities including mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation
• Experience coordinating technical data teams and multiple project workstreams
• Strong stakeholder management, planning and governance skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with the ability to manage risks and resolve issues
• Experience within a complex enterprise or transformation environment would be advantageous
