Job summary

Holmes Aus & Nz – Wellington, North Island is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead complex civil projects and build strong client relationships in the Wellington market. The role welcomes candidates at Project Director or Technical Director levels who want to apply their experience to a reputed firm with a strong pipeline of work.

Qualifications

Extensive civil infrastructure design across general civils, three waters, roading and pump systems.
Proven track record leading projects and building trusted client relationships.
Strong communication, judgment and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of complex civil engineering projects from proposal through to completion.
Provide technical direction across a broad range of infrastructure design work.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to repeat work and new opportunities.
Take ownership of project outcomes, including quality, programme, commercial performance and delivery.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to solve technically challenging problems.
Mentor and support developing engineers, sharing knowledge and helping build capability across the team.
Contribute to business development and help strengthen Holmes' presence in the Wellington market.
