Job summary

Multi Color Corp in New Zealand is seeking a finishing machine operator to process and quality-inspect printed labels. You will work 2:15 pm – 12:15 am, Monday to Thursday, joining an established, supportive team to meet customer targets and timeframes.

The role focuses on safe operation, accuracy, and a strong service mindset, with full training provided and opportunities for career progression within our premium label division.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred (labels sector).
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to distinguish all colours.
• Physically capable of manual handling tasks.
• Does not suffer from motion sickness.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Set up the finishing machine (loading print rolls, feeding material, adjusting blades and slicers).
• Record basic machine operation data using a PC.
• Monitor and maintain the finishing machine with a focus on safety.
• Maintain high quality standards and QA.
• Provide strong customer service through reliable performance.
