Job summary

Kings Recruitment is recruiting a Production Operator for our Christchurch client to support finishing, assembly and production processes in a busy industrial print facility.

The role involves manual-set guillotine operation, laminating and packing, with focus on accuracy and quality prior to dispatch. Prior print finishing or manufacturing experience is preferred, but motivated newcomers with mechanical aptitude are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in print finishing, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and confidence working safely with equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• A practical approach with a willingness to learn.
• A reliable work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual-set guillotines to accurately cut printed materials.
• Complete laminating and print finishing processes.
• Assist with assembly and packing of finished products.
• Carry out quality checks and follow job specifications.
• Work collaboratively with the wider production team.
