Responsibilities

• Clean crockery, cutlery, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, ovens, walls, and work surfaces.
• Uphold hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation as directed.
• Process and prepare fresh produce from lodge gardens.
• Support culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Build strong working relationships with kitchen and lodge teams.
• Attend daily team briefings and participate actively.
• Follow health and safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
• Wear uniform and protective footwear as required.
• Undertake additional duties as requested by Head Chef or management.

As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen while assisting with basic food preparation duties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment in a timely manner
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors, ovens, walls, and work surfaces
• Upholding exceptional hygiene and sanitation standards at all times
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation tasks as directed
• Processing and preparing fresh produce from the lodge gardens
• Supporting the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations
• Building strong working relationships with kitchen and lodge teams
• Attending and actively participating in daily team briefings
• Following all health and safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents promptly
• Wearing the appropriate uniform and protective footwear at all times
• Undertaking additional duties as requested by the Head Chef or senior management
