Our kitchen serves travellers, locals and commuters throughout the day, so we need someone who can keep up in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in a tidy, well-run kitchen and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
In line with the standard tasks for this occupation, you will:
Beyond these duties, we're after someone who genuinely contributes to the smooth running of the food section day to day. That means keeping the servery and customer-facing food areas clean and well stocked, helping restock the fridges and display units during quieter periods, and giving the wider team a hand at busy times such as morning rush and weekends. You'll be expected to spot when something needs cleaning or restocking without being asked, handle equipment carefully, and report any maintenance or stock issues to the supervisor. Because we operate long hours seven days a week, some flexibility around shifts — including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays — is important. Full training in our kitchen systems, cleaning schedules and food-safety practices will be provided.
