Job summary

Mitre 10 Kerikeri is seeking a customer‑focused retail specialist to design and sell kitchen and bathroom solutions. You will listen to customers, guide them from design to finish, and support on-floor merchandising in a fast-paced home improvement environment.

The role involves training on Design Software, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining stock and displays. A weekend roster is required, with no mention of salary details.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be trained on our Design Software to assist customers.
• Grow sales by providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintain high merchandising standards and manage stock.
• Bring out-of-the-box thinking for kitchen and bathroom design.
• Assist with on-floor stock presentation and displays.
• Heavy lifting and physical movement are required.
• Promote health and safety and safe work practices.
• Experience in a similar role is helpful, but attitude is king.

Mitre 10Kerikeri is locally owned and operated and renowned for our customer service.This role is within one of the key inspirational areas within our store with achance to really inspire our customers.

You’ll havethe opportunity to use your creative flair to design and sell our kitchen andbathroom range, helping our customer in all aspects of their kitchen/bathroommakeovers. Whether you are designing from scratch or selecting the rightflat-pack options, working in this department means really listening to ourcustomers so we can deliver the right solution. Retail sales play a big part inthis role to keep you busy too.

This is a 32 hour per week position,shifts will involve one weekend shift per week and may include publicholidays
