Job summary

Alignz Recruitment is seeking four motivated roading crew members to join a reputable civil construction team in Kaikōura, South Island. The roles are part of a long‑term roading maintenance contract offering consistent work and potential permanent employment.

Work will involve road repairs, pavement works, drainage tasks, and operating machinery in outdoor conditions. You’ll be part of a supportive team with strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship in Kaikōura.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in roading, civil construction, or related industries.
• Class 2 Driver’s Licence – essential.
• WTR endorsements – required.
• Traffic control qualifications – advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Road repairs and maintenance.
• Pavement and surfacing works.
• Drainage and culvert work.
• Operating machinery and equipment.
• Traffic control and site safety.
• General labouring duties as required.
