Job summary

SPCA Auckland is seeking a junior Performance Marketer on a 7-month fixed-term contract in Auckland-West to support fundraising, awareness and campaign outcomes with a paid media focus.

You will work with our Digital Marketing Executive to execute and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads and Microsoft Ads, monitor performance, and translate data into actionable insights to drive results for animal welfare across New Zealand.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of practical experience managing Google Ads, Meta Ads and Microsoft Ads.
• Strong understanding of performance marketing, including multi-touch campaigns.
• Proficiency in campaign setup, optimisation and reporting across paid platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience with UTMs, conversion tracking and reporting conventions.
• Basic understanding of web SEO/GEO.
• Good written communication for ad copy.

Responsibilities

• Support oversight, management, and ongoing development of the SPCA Charity Google Ads account.
• Assist in the execution and optimisation of paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Microsoft Ads.
• Continuously monitor, analyse, and refine campaign performance.
• Ensure ongoing campaigns are regularly refreshed, tested, and improved.
• Work directly with the Digital Marketing Executive to execute long-term strategies.
• Assist in A/B testing and performance optimisation.
• Track campaign performance and provide reporting for campaigns you steward.
