Job summary

Postie Plus Group Limited is seeking a commercially minded Junior Planner to join our Merchandise team in Auckland. You will help ensure the right products are available at the right time and drive performance across stores and online.

Based in central Auckland (Ellerslie) with easy access to public transport, you’ll collaborate with Buyers and stakeholders to influence commercial decisions and optimize stock, sales and margin across categories.

Qualifications

• Retail planning or merchandise planning experience.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into commercial decisions.
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support forecasting, budgeting and planning activities across product categories.
• Monitor sales, stock and margin performance; identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Optimise stock levels and availability across stores and online.
• Support assortment and purchase planning to deliver strong commercial outcomes.

We’re looking for a commercially minded Junior Planner to join our Merchandise team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with planning experience who is ready to take the next step in their career while helping drive product performance across our stores and online.

Central Auckland location (Ellerslie)

In this role you’ll play an important part in ensuring the right products are available at the right time, while supporting sales, margin and stock performance through effective planning and analysis. You’ll work closely with Buyers and key stakeholders, contributing to commercial decisions that influence product performance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Support forecasting, budgeting and planning activities across your product categories.

You’ll be a great fit for the role if you

• Have previous retail planning or merchandise planning experience.
• Are confident analysing data and using insights to support commercial decisions.
• Have strong Excel skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Can identify trends, opportunities and potential risks to support business performance.
• Can build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
