Job summary

Halter in Auckland is seeking a Junior Fleet Operations Engineer to help scale our hardware operations that support farmers worldwide. You will monitor fleet performance, triage issues, build internal tooling and dashboards, and collaborate with engineering, product, and deployment teams.

Based in our Auckland HQ, this full-time role offers on-call roster and the chance to impact sustainable farming.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and time management
• Experience with dashboards, logs, and APIs is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor fleet performance and proactively identify issues
• Triages issues, coordinates resolution, and escalates when needed
• Build internal tooling, dashboards, and automations
• Collaborate with Fleet Engineers, Product, Deployment, and Customer Experience
• Travel to customer farms as needed
