Job summary

Rightmove Recruitment in Canterbury, NZ is seeking experienced joiners for high-end custom joinery in residential and commercial spaces. You will read blueprints, apply joinery techniques, and work both independently and with a team in a friendly environment.

The role offers permanent employment with good weekly pay, PPE provided, and ongoing support from the Rightmove Team. Own tools and a full Class 1 licence are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification and 2+ years' joinery experience.
• Own tools and transport to get to work.
• Full Class 1 licence required.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.

Job description

We are working with a leading timber joinery company that are in need of experienced joiners.

The work will predominately be high end custom joinery, both in residential and commercial spaces. The team is small, and they have a great, friendly work environment.

The pay rate will be starting $28.00 to $35.00 depending on your qualifications and experience. Hours of work are Monday to Friday dayshift.

What we need from you:

• Relevant qualification and minimum of 2 years' experience
• Own tools & transport to get to work
• Proven experience as a joinery installer
• Confident with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of joinery techniques and materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
• Full class 1 licence
