Job summary

Rightmove Recruitment is seeking an experienced joinery installer in Christchurch, NZ to install high-end custom joinery in residential and commercial spaces. The role requires reading blueprints, strong joinery knowledge, and a reliable, team-oriented attitude.

Permanent role for the right candidate with PPE provided and regular weekly pay; join a small, friendly team in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification and minimum of 2 years’ joinery experience.
• Confident working in fast-paced, high-detail workshop.
• Own tools & transport to get to work.
• Proven experience as a joinery installer.
• Confident with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of joinery techniques and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full Class 1 licence.

Responsibilities

• Install high-end custom joinery in residential and commercial spaces.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide installation.
• Work within a fast-paced, detail-oriented workshop.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects on schedule.

We are working with a leading timber joinery company that are in need of experienced joiners.

The work will predominately be high end custom joinery, both in residential and commercial spaces. The team is small, and they have a great, friendly work environment.

The pay rate will be starting $28.00 to $34.00 depending on your qualifications and experience. Hours of work are Monday to Friday dayshift.

What we need from you:

• Relevant qualification and minimum of 2 years’ experience

• Own tools & transport to get to work
• Proven experience as a joinery installer
• Confident with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of joinery techniques and materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
• Full class 1 licence
