Job summary

Canstaff is seeking an experienced joiner to join our skilled team in Canterbury. You will install, repair, and maintain wooden structures and bespoke joinery, bringing pride in high-quality craftsmanship.

The role requires carpentry expertise, ability to read drawings, attention to detail, and good communication with clients. You will work both independently and with the team, following safety protocols on-site. A valid driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Joinery Work: Perform a variety of joinery tasks, including creating wooden structures, doors, windows, stairs, and furniture.
  • Installation: Install wooden fixtures, frameworks, and panels as required, ensuring a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Repairs: Carry out repairs to existing woodwork, including windows, doors, and flooring.
  • Cutting & Shaping: Measure, cut, and shape timber and other materials according to project specifications.
  • Safety & Quality: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients as needed to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including other tradespeople, to complete projects efficiently.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Joiner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures, as well as working on bespoke joinery projects.
