emagine in Auckland is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on support for end-user workplace technology, ensuring smooth operation and timely resolution of IT tasks.

You will handle hardware setup, imaging, cabling, and onsite troubleshooting, while coordinating with other IT teams to maintain reliable device availability and service quality.

• Experience in IT support roles, especially with end-user devices.
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting desktop and laptop systems.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and peripheral devices.

• Provide hands-on support for workplace technology including laptops, thin clients, and peripherals.
• Perform hardware tasks such as cabling, device delivery, setup, imaging, and resets.
• Manage local stock and coordinate storage activities, ensuring accurate asset tracking and availability.
• Act as onsite support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Work closely with other IT teams to ensure coherent technology support.

Must Haves:

• Experience in IT support roles, especially with end-user devices.
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting desktop and laptop systems.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and peripheral devices.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and user management.
• Certification in ITIL or similar frameworks.

• Contract: Part time (3 days per week), 7-9 months (with possibility of extension)
