OceanaGold Corporation invites applications for an IT Officer at the Macraes site in Otago. The role blends hands-on IT support with systems administration, covering both on-site and remote tasks to ensure reliability of critical systems.

The position requires a degree in IT/CS or equivalent, NZ work rights, and a valid driver’s license. You will work two days at Macraes and three days in Dunedin, following a 9-day fortnight schedule.

Qualifications

• Tertiary-level degree in IT or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Full NZ working rights / unrestricted visa.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 IT support at Macraes site and cover Level 1/3 as needed.
• Assist with systems administration tasks and project work.
