Job summary

JB Hi‑Fi seeks a store role focusing on the IT & Gaming department, driving sales and ensuring compliant operations. You will work with the Store Management team to meet store objectives, uphold pricing integrity, and support the sales team with product knowledge.

Job Description

Create, support and uphold a culture of collective high performance and great customer experiences across the store, with a specific focus on the IT & Gaming department. To support role, assist the Store Management team with storewide objectives.

• Achieve sales and profitability targets for your store
• Ensure all IT Gaming Department activities meet compliance and legislative standards, with an emphasis on Safety, including in-store process and incident reporting
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver a positive experience for both instore and online customers
• Maintain a high standard of pricing integrity across the IT & Gaming Department
• Cross train, develop and support sales team members on all aspects of IT & Gaming Department products and services
• Ensure all sales activities meet compliance and legislative standards, including meeting responsibilities outlined in the CGA or other legislation
• Contribute to financial performance through inventory management, loss prevention and management of controllable expenses
• Assist the Store Management team, where required, in all daily operational aspects of the store
• Continuously improve skills and product knowledge through available online platforms and participation in other development opportunities
• Keep informed of industry trends and market developments
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to further develop this role and present recommendations to Management accordingly

Qualifications
