Job summary

WineWorks seeks a skilled Developer to build, maintain and evolve the DataWorks platform across NZ sites. The role covers reliability, security and value delivery for our operational tech ecosystem, with hands-on cloud and industrial system work and collaboration with business stakeholders.

You will design data pipelines, integrations and UI, ensuring secure, scalable solutions aligned with company standards while maintaining asset inventories and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud infrastructure including API access and SQL data flows.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot Cloud, Gateway and PLC infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehensive documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own ongoing technical operation, performance, reliability and continuous improvement of the WineWorks IoT and DataWorks platform.
• Translate business requirements into practical data solutions with stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, integrations, reporting, and front-end UI.

WineWorksis seeking a skilled and motivated Developer, to develop, maintain andcontinuously evolve our DataWorks platform.

Thisis a critical role responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability,security, and ongoing value delivery of our operational technology ecosystem.

You will bring practical experience across Microsoft Azuretechnologies including IoT services and SQL. You will apply this expertise todrive operational excellence, platform reliability, security and continuousimprovement.

This role requires a hands-on technician who is equallycomfortable working with cloud platforms, industrial systems, softwaredevelopment, and stakeholders across the business.

The successful candidate will ensure a current and accurateinventory of technology assets, software and licences is maintained,integrations, platform architecture and ongoing optimisation.

Successful candidate can be based at either one our threesites, WineWorks Auckland, Hawke’s Bay or Marlborough, Monday to Friday workpattern.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the ongoing technical operation, performance,reliability and continuous improvement of the WineWorks IoT and DataWorksplatform.
• Work with stakeholders to understand businessrequirements and translate them into practical data solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines,integrations, and reporting solutions and front end interface (UI)
• Support and optimise IoT-related systems
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and alignedwith company standards
• Maintain accurate technical documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Assist in the identification, testing andimplementation of new software
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, costefficiency, automation and operational outcomes through emerging technologiesand data-driven innovation.

What We’re Looking For

• Working knowledge of Cloud infrastructure includingAPI and SQL, including practical applications.
• Can capably set up, configure and troubleshootCloud,Gatewayand PLC infrastructure
