The Role at a Glance

As a core member of the Development team, you will bridge the gap between technical complexity and real-world impact. You’ll spend your time developing robust web applications, diving into cloud architecture, and pair-programming to help level up the wider team.

This is a very data-focused development role.

• Building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes in collaboration with the data engineering team

• Developing clean, clear and scalabe APIs that connect frontend, backend, and data layers

• Applying established data models and warehouse patterns to product features, and feeding back a builder’s perspective on them

• Developing and testing applications, including following and improving best practices for backend, frontend, and data development

What You'll Bring to the Table

To thrive in this environment, you should bring a strong blend of backend expertise and an Agile mindset. Ideally, your toolkit includes:

• Core Languages: Strong commercial experience with Java/Python/Angular/TypeScript

• Practical experience with Python/PySpark for data engineering tasks

• Cloud : Solid hands-on experience with AWS ( Glue, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda)

• Testing & CI/CD: Experience with modern testing frameworks (Cypress, Jasmine, Karma) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitHub Actions).

• Leadership Style: A passion for peer mentoring, constructive PR reviews, and a practical, pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
