Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a mobile developer to own and shape end-to-end mobile products. You will work across native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Flutter, taking products from early thinking through development, release, and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience building mobile apps that shipped to users
• Strong native iOS with Swift/SwiftUI and/or Flutter/Dart experience
• Experience across the other mobile stack
• Understanding of mobile architecture, state management and APIs
• Experience with testing, releases and production support
• Awareness of security, privacy, accessibility and performance
• Ability to work through ambiguity and communicate well with both technical and non-technical teammates

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production mobile applications using Swift/SwiftUI and Flutter/Dart
• Collaborate with designers to translate product ideas into solid software
• Decide between native vs cross‑platform approaches
• Plan and estimate work, surface technical risks early
• Write automated tests and investigate production issues
• Support CI/CD and App Store releases
• Explain technical options to clients and maintainability considerations
• Review code and promote mobile engineering best practices
• Leverage AI-assisted development where it adds value while owning shipped work
