Job summary

Tegel Foods Ltd – New Plymouth distribution centre is hiring a Warehouse Inventory Support Assistant. The role supports stock accuracy across site and offsite warehouses, in a 5x8 shift from 7am to 3:30pm.

You will conduct cycle counts, process dumps, track CHEP movements, ensure ROPs are scanned, coordinate with Petfood, and handle downgrade requests with timely feedback. A strong focus on accuracy and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong administration, planning and organization skills.
• Solid focus on Health and Safety in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of logistics, inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with inventory systems such as e-Certing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
• Release and allocate dumps in the system.
• Capture CHEP movements in and out of the site.
• Ensure ROPs are scanned back into the system accurately.
• Coordinate with Petfood weekly to ensure invoicing is complete.
