Job summary

Tegel Foods Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Support Assistant for our Distribution Centre in Bell Block, New Plymouth. The role supports stock accuracy across onsite and offsite warehouses and operates a 5x8 shift from 7am to 3:30pm.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, releasing dumps, recording CHEP movements, scanning ROPs, coordinating with Petfood, processing downgrade requests, and managing weekly credits with a focus on health and safety and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Excellent administration, planning and organization skills.
• Strong focus on Health and Safety
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
• Understanding of logistics, Inventory control and warehouse operations
• Knowledge of e-Certing / Inventory systems preferable

Responsibilities

• Complete cycle counts on a regular basis.
• Release and allocate all dumps in the system.
• Capture all CHEP movements in and out of the site.
• Ensure all ROPs are scanned back into the system and handled correctly.
• Liaise with Petfood weekly to ensure it’s all invoiced out of the system.
• Action all Head office downgrade requests with feedback
• Maintain weekly turnaround times on all credits.

We are currently looking for aWarehouse Inventory Support Assistantto join our Distribution Centre based in Bell Block. If you have a great work ethic and want to be a part of a strong team, then come and join the team at Tegel. This position will be a 5x8 role, working 7am – 3.30pm. You will be providing support in maintaining stock accuracy both onsite and within offsite warehouses.

• Completion of cycle counts on a regular basis.
