Job summary

Tegel Foods Limited, a household New Zealand brand, invites applications for an operator at our New Plymouth Feedmill. This role suits someone with manufacturing, warehousing or production experience seeking career progression within a supportive team environment.

The position operates on a 4on4off day/night roster (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am). A valid NZ driver’s license and own transport are required. Training will be provided and a competitive hourly rate is offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Weighing In - All trucks are correctly weighed on arrival at the Feedmill.
• All manual documentation completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Accurately fill bins - kept adequately stocked for processing needs.
• Loading Trucks - Customers receive high quality feed.
• Batching, mixing of feed - ensuring correct mixture according to specifications.
• Barcoding on ingredients and shrink wrapping - all bags are barcoded and shrink wrapped securely.
• Storing pallets - placed in allocated area.

This is a shift work role working 4on4off alternating day (6am-6pm) / night (6pm-6am) roster. You will need to have your own transport and a full driver license.

Key Responsibilities include:
