Job description

Love the detail? Keeping things organised and making sure everything adds up?

If you’re the kind of person who spots the number that doesn’t look quite right, loves a well-organised system and takes pride in getting the detail right — this could be the role for you.

We’re looking for an organised, detail-focused Inventory Controllerto join our team at ZIWI. You’ll play an important role in keeping inventory accurate, transactions up to date and operational information flowing across our warehouse, supply chain and support teams.

This is a hands‑on role where your ability to plan, prioritise, reconcile and sense‑check information will make a real difference.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be responsible for keeping our inventory records accurate and ensuring the right information is captured across our systems.

Your days will include:

  • Managing inventory transactions and reconciliations through our ERP system

  • Monitoring inventory movements and investigating discrepancies

  • Using Excel to analyse, reconcile and maintain inventory information

  • Supporting warehouse, logistics and supply chain activities

  • Coordinating information across operational and support teams

  • Planning and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines in a busy, changing environment

  • Working calmly and accurately under operational pressure, while maintaining attention to detail

  • Looking for practical ways to improve processes while maintaining the right controls, compliance and inventory integrity

What you’ll bring

You’re naturally organised, methodical and comfortable working with numbers and systems. You enjoy knowing where things are at, take ownership of your work and take pride in producing accurate results.

You’ll have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in inventory control, logistics, supply chain, warehousing or a related operational role

  • Experience using ERP systems for inventory transactions and reconciliation

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills

  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and the confidence to question and sense‑check information that doesn’t look right

  • Excellent planning, prioritisation and time‑management skills

  • A collaborative approach — you’re willing to share knowledge, support others and help ensure processes are followed consistently

  • A practical, improvement-focused mindset, balanced with an understanding of the importance of controls, compliance and inventory integrity

Even better if you have...

  • Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or a regulated export environment

  • Knowledge of MPI regulations, eligibility certification or ECert processes

  • A current forklift licence
