Job summary

Unitec in Auckland is seeking an Internship Coordinator within the School of Applied Business to support students in gaining work-integrated learning experiences. You will identify and secure internship opportunities, build employer relationships, and match students to placements while guiding them and the employers through the process to ensure valuable outcomes.

The School of Applied Business is seeking a dedicated and relationship-focused Internship Coordinator to support our students in gaining valuable work-integrated learning experiences.

In this role, you will:

• Identify and secure internship and industry placement opportunities for students.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and community organisations.
• Match students with suitable internship opportunities aligned to their career goals and programme requirements.
• Support students and employers throughout the placement process to ensure successful outcomes.

• A full New Zealand driver's licence and willingness to travel locally to visit internship locations.

Knowledge of vocational education, work-integrated learning, or industry placement programmes would be advantageous.
