Job summary

Motion Asia Pacific is seeking an Internal Sales Representative in New Zealand to manage customer enquiries and orders, building long-term relationships across the branch network. The role combines internal sales, customer service, and some warehouse duties, reporting to the Branch Manager.

You will provide product support, handle front-counter inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and work with the broader Motion network to meet customer needs on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, internal sales or a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, reliable and proactive approach to work.
• Strong time-management, problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to assist with occasional manual handling up to 5kg.

Responsibilities

• Providing product support to a diverse customer base.
• Front counter customer service, answering and processing enquiries and orders via phone, email, and counter sales.
• Some warehouse duties - picking & packing orders, local deliveries when required.
• Developing customer relationships to ensure the Branch is the supplier of choice.
• Assisting in developing and implementing showroom promotional activity to drive counter sales.
