Job summary

Pratt & Whitney NZ in Christchurch is seeking a Year 3 Bachelor of Data Science student to join the Customer Focus Team over the summer. You will work with data models and ERP systems to support shop visit management and data-driven improvements in our service workflow.

Applicants should be comfortable with learning new skills, have strong listening and communication abilities, and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. A pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test will be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Leveraging ERP systems to provide the Customer Service team a scalable tool to efficiently handle open items and Shop Visit management for all engine shop visits.
• Creation of Digital tools to enhance efficiency within CFT. Providing scalability to processes in preparation for increased growth. Such as:
• Create ANDON Control process to avoid non-approved part fitment
• Automate Piece Part customer correspondence and enhance internal tracker
• Assist with ongoing data enhancement projects

Requirements

• Year 3 Bachelor of Data Science undergraduate to work with our Customer Focus Team (CFT) departments over the summer
• Are familiar with data models and database systems.
• Are willing to learn new skills to be able to support the project activities assigned.
• Have excellent listening, communication, and documentation skills.
• Have the ability to quickly integrate and operate within an established team.
• Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
• Must be able / willing to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug & alcohol test.
