Tait Communications in Christchurch, NZ is seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer to join an Application Development team on an on-site, full-time basis. The role focuses on building software across Android, iOS, and Embedded Linux, with ownership of features and leadership opportunities on projects.

You’ll collaborate with architects and senior engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and contribute to the SDLC, automation testing, and system integration efforts while growing technically

Qualifications

• Experience with strongly typed languages such as C++, C# or similar.
• Experience with Android and iOS development tools (Maui and/or Kotlin) would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with developing applications in the cloud (using Docker) and automated testing frameworks.

• Intermediate level experience in developing software applications that operate on the internet across various devices (eg Android, iOS, Embedded Linux).

• Familiarity with developing applications in the cloud (using Docker and Docker Compose), SDLC practices and automated testing frameworks.
