Key Responsibilities
  • Expert Web Application Development Design, build, and maintain web-based features within the Aderant Expert product suite, following established architecture and coding standards. Develop and maintain front-end components (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks) alongside server-side C#/.NET logic and APIs. Work with existing Expert data and services (including integration points with SQL Server-backed systems) to build reliable, performant features. Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate actively in code reviews. Implement authentication and authorization flows for Microsoft 365 integrations (OAuth 2.0 / Microsoft Entra ID / SSO patterns). Develop and maintain Outlook and/or Teams add-ins or connected experiences that surface Expert data and workflows inside Microsoft 365. Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and aligned with Microsoft's evolving platform requirements and deprecation timelines. Document integration design decisions and configuration steps for support and future maintainability.
  • Collaboration & Delivery Practices Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to sprint commitments. Work with QA to define test scenarios and support automated and manual testing of new features. Partner with product management and support teams to translate requirements and client feedback into working software. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes, ensuring changes are deployed safely and reliably.

  • Working knowledge of SQL Server, including writing and troubleshooting queries and stored procedures.
  • Familiarity with source control (Git or TFS/Azure DevOps) and collaborative development workflows.
