Job summary

HFC: Structures in Christchurch is seeking a Revit Technician to join our team. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality structural design documentation using Revit for a range of exciting projects, with emphasis on residential sector experience.

You will develop 3D Revit models, produce construction drawings and schedules, and collaborate with engineers and the wider design team. A proactive problem-solving approach and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years NZ experience as a Revit Technician
• Strong knowledge of Revit & AutoCAD for structural design
• Understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineers and design team
• Proactive problem-solving and keen eye for detail
• Strong client & team focus with passion for quality documentation
• Relevant qualification in drafting, engineering or architecture

Job description

HFC: Structures is seeking a Revit Technician to join our team in Christchurch. This is a full-time position where you will utilise your expertise in Revit to deliver high-quality structural design documentation for a range of exciting projects. Ideally, you would have experience working within the residential sector (bespoke architectural houses, multi-unit developments)

What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining 3D Revit models for structural engineering designs
• Producing detailed construction drawings, schedules and documentation using Revit
• Collaborating with the wider design team to ensure the structural design is accurately represented in the Revit models
• Continually improving Revit standards and processes to enhance efficiency and quality

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of NZ experience as a Revit Technician, ideally within a structural engineering environment
• Strong knowledge of Revit & AutoCAD software, including its application for structural design and documentation
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers and the broader design team
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail
• A strong client & team focus, with a passion for delivering quality documentation
• Relevant qualification in drafting, engineering or architecture
