Job summary

Frequency is a New Zealand–owned specialist project advisory consultancy headquartered in Dunedin, delivering Buildings and Infrastructure projects across design, procurement, contract management and delivery.

We’re seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to join our Dunedin team, managing day‑to‑day delivery on smaller work packages while partnering with senior project managers and clients to keep programmes on track and outcomes moving forward.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ project management experience in New Zealand or similar environment.
• Relevant tertiary industry qualifications.
• Experience on building/infrastructure projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of projects and work packages to meet client needs, scope, budget, and programme.
• Support development of Project Management Plans aligned with clients’ needs and objectives.
• Assist with identification, management, and mitigation of project risks and issues.
• Support procurement processes and contract administration, including exposure to NZS3910 and/or NZS3916 contracts.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to keep projects on track.
• Prepare project reporting, track budgets, and monitor performance against programme.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and project teams.
• Work with senior project managers, taking on increasing ownership as experience grows.
