Job summary

Envivo Ltd - Engineering | Surveying | Planning in Auckland's Mt Eden is seeking an Intermediate Planner to join our Planning team. You will contribute to land development and infrastructure projects, collaborating with planners, engineers and surveyors to deliver quality outcomes.

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor or master’s degree in urban planning with 2–6 years regulatory/consultancy experience, and a strong knowledge of planning regulations and client communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in urban planning.
  • 2–6 years in regulatory/consultancy planning.
  • Strong knowledge of planning legislation and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare planning/property assessments including consent scoping & feasibility reports
  • Complete AEE's for resource consent applications
  • Liaise with clients and deliver a high level of client service
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of planning regulations

About you

You hold a bachelor/master's degree in urban planning along with 2-6 years of experience in a regulatory/consultancy environment. You're a confident and motivated planner who enjoys working collaboratively and thinking strategically. You'll also bring:

  • Strong knowledge of the Resource Management Act and planning regulations
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Confidence dealing with clients, councils, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Developing project management capabilities
  • Membership (or eligibility for membership) of NZPI
