Beca Limited is seeking a Senior Planner based in Wellington to join our team of planning experts. You will work on a diverse range of multidisciplinary projects with national colleagues, delivering high-quality planning advice for clients across urban and environmental domains.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity You will be joining our team as a senior planner, based in our Wellington office, working with a local team of planning experts as part of a nationwide team of 60. As a member of our tight-knit team, you’ll work on a diverse range of exciting projects alongside clients including Tiaki Wai, Wellington City Council, Transpower, NZ Transport Agency, Department of Conservation, Ministry of Education and renewable energy providers and industrial clients, amongst others. Recent local projects we have been involved in include the Te Ara Tupua shared path, Porirua wastewater storage tank and Wellington’s sludge minimisation facility. In this role, you’ll bring your technical expertise, collaborative mindset and client focus to deliver high-quality planning advice and project outcomes. Whether you’re building your career or stepping into a more senior position, you’ll have the opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary projects, strengthen client relationships and play a key role in delivering quality outcomes on community-shaping projects across Aotearoa New Zealand.
