Job summary

Goodman Fielder New Zealand is hiring an Intermediate Breadroom Operator to join the Dispatch team at our East Tamaki site, Auckland. This full-time, on-site role requires you to assist with automated order picking, manual bread handling, and general warehouse duties while adhering to safety and food-safety policies.

We value willingness to learn, good communication and numerical skills, and a forklift licence (preferred).

The opportunity

We are looking for motivated people to join the Dispatch team as Breadroom Operators at our Quality Bakers site in East Tamaki, Auckland. You will possess a willingness and an aptitude to learn and ideally have some warehouse experience. To ensure success in this role you will have good physical strength and a good eye for detail especially with regards to safety and housekeeping.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

• Automated Order picking
• Barrowing/Manual handling bread stacks
• Adhering to the company's Health and Safety and Food Safety policies and procedures
• General warehouse duties

The successful applicant will have:

• Warehouse experience is desirable although full training will be provided
• Good communication and numerical skills
• Willingness and aptitude to learn
• Forklift licence and experience preferable

The shift pattern needs to be:

Tuesday 12am (midnight) - 7.15pm

Wednesday - 7.00pm - 7.15am

Thursday - 7.00pm - 7.15am

Friday - 7.00pm - 7.15am
