Job summary

Goodman Fielder New Zealand is seeking motivated individuals to join the Dispatch team as Breadroom Operators at our East Tamaki site in Auckland. You will learn quickly, have good eye for detail and safety, and support automated order picking and general warehouse duties.

Key qualifications include warehouse experience or willingness to learn, good communication and numerical skills, and a forklift licence (preferred). Training will be provided to the right candidate.

The opportunity

We are looking for motivated people to join the Dispatch team as Breadroom Operators at our Quality Bakers site in East Tamaki, Auckland.

You will possess a willingness and an aptitude to learn and ideally have some warehouse experience. To ensure success in this role you will have good physical strength and a good eye for detail especially with regards to safety and housekeeping.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

• Automated Order picking
• Barrowing/Manual handling bread stacks
• Adhering to the company's Health and Safety and Food Safety policies and procedures
• General warehouse duties

The successful applicant will have:

• Warehouse experience is desirable although full training will be provided
• Good communication and numerical skills
• Willingness and aptitude to learn.
• Forklift licence and experience preferable

The shift pattern needs to be:

Tuesday 12am (midnight) – 7.15pm

Wednesday – 7.00pm – 7.15am

Thursday – 7.00pm – 7.15am

Friday – 7.00pm – 7.15am
