At NZCL, our Intensive Support Services (ISS) provide highly individualised residential support for tamariki, rangatahi, and pakeke (adults) with complex support needs. We focus on creating safe, structured, and supportive home environments where people can build independence, develop life skills, strengthen relationships, and achieve meaningful outcomes.
Our approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in Positive Behaviour Support. We work alongside whānau, guardians, healthcare professionals, educators, and other key stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality care and support.
We are currently seeking Casual Support Workers to join our Intensive Support Services team. This role is designed to provide cover for planned and unplanned absences, including sick leave, annual leave, training, and periods of increased support needs across our services.
Successful applicants must be flexible, responsive, and willing to work at short notice. While opportunities may be available across the wider Canterbury region, applicants must be willing and able to work regularly in Rangiora, as this is a core service location.
As part of ISS, you will work within a multidisciplinary team supporting people with complex behavioural, health, social, disability, and developmental needs to achieve greater independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
