Job summary

Jobtailor in Auckland, NZ is seeking an experienced Java/Spring Boot engineer to design, develop and integrate enterprise-grade services within a collaborative, agile team.

You'll own key integration work, focus on security, performance and reliability, and mentor others while partnering with stakeholders across the programme to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing Java and Spring Boot services.
• REST APIs, integration patterns, and secure service-to-service communication.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Focus on quality, maintainability, performance, observability, and security.
• Ability to contribute to technical design and solution development.
• Knowledge of secure integration concepts, including authentication methods, certificates, and API protection.
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, Jenkins, AWS, Kubernetes, and API gateway/API management concepts would be advantageous.
