Job summary

BNZ is seeking an Integration Developer to join the Customer360 Integration team. You will design, build and maintain scalable integrations connecting front-end processes with core banking systems, data platforms and channels.

You will work in a hybrid model (three days in the office, two days flexible) based in Wellington or Auckland, collaborating with engineers across the bank to deliver reliable, secure APIs and continuous platform improvement.

Qualifications

• Design and develop Java/Spring Boot services, REST APIs, and secure inter-service communication.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: quality, maintainability, performance, observability, and security.
• Exposure to CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, and API gateways.
