Job summary

Morrison Agri in New Zealand's Canterbury region seeks an experienced Installer to lead on-site jobs, install dairy equipment, and ensure workmanship of the highest standard.

You will perform TIG and MIG welding, read plans, and handle mechanical fabrication while occasionally traveling for project work. A full NZ driver licence and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG & MIG welding experience.
• Strong mechanical and general engineering background.
• The confidence to lead a small crew or run jobs independently.
• Good communication skills and a positive, practical attitude.
• Ability to travel and stay away overnight; Full NZ driver licence.
• Bonus: dairy/agri industry experience (not essential).

With a busy 2026 ahead and strong demand for new installations, we’re looking to grow our team with an experienced Installer who can lead on-site jobs as needed, complete engineering tasks to a high standard, and represent our business professionally.

About the Role

• This is a hands-on installation and engineering role where you’ll be involved in:
• Installing dairy equipment across the region
• TIG & MIG welding and general fabrication
• Leading small installation teams or taking charge of jobs on-site

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who brings:
